Network Wireless Operations Engineer - Engineering

Join a dynamic engineering firm at the forefront of innovation! We are seeking a skilled Network Wireless Operations Engineer to provide 2nd and 3rd line support for our client's wireless network infrastructure.

As a Network Wireless Operations Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our wireless network. This position involves providing 2nd and 3rd line support, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to maintain optimal performance. Familiarity with ITIL practices will be essential for effective incident and problem management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for the wireless network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve wireless network issues promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address network incidents and problems.
• Work closely with wireless vendors, including Cisco Wireless Aironet (80%), DNA Center & Cisco ISE, Aruba (10%), and Cisco Meraki (10%).
• Implement ITIL practices for incident and problem management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in 2nd and 3rd line support for wireless networks.
• Strong expertise in Cisco Wireless Aironet, DNA Center & Cisco ISE.
• Familiarity with Aruba and Cisco Meraki is advantageous.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices for incident and problem management.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Salary:

•  £40,000 - £55,000 DoE
