Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring Performance: Keep a vigilant eye on network system performance, identifying and addressing issues promptly to minimize disruptions and ensure optimal functionality.
  • Documentation and Analysis: Prepare comprehensive logs, reports, and user guides to track usage and costs, facilitating informed decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Maintenance and Upgrades: Execute backups, recovery procedures, equipment repairs, and preventive maintenance to uphold network reliability. Identify areas for equipment modifications and upgrades, researching and evaluating hardware and software options for efficiency and compatibility.
  • Customer Support: Provide Tier 2 support to both internal and external customers, assisting with equipment usage, troubleshooting, and problem resolution. Deliver training to users as needed to maximize the benefits of network resources.
  • Business Continuity: Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans, ensuring readiness to mitigate risks and maintain operations in adverse circumstances.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Information Science, Computer Sciences, or related field, with at least three years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles and technologies, coupled with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software. Familiarity with a variety of operating systems and networking equipment is essential.
  •  Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Salary: 

  • Up to $75,000
