We are seeking a talented and experienced OT Network & Systems Engineer to join a Managed IT Services Provider.  They help organisations increase process efficiencies and scale their IT costs to better match business needs. 

You will be an integral part of of their organization,  responsible for designing, implementing, and managing operational technology (OT) networks and systems for clients. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique requirements and deliver robust solutions that enhance their operational efficiency and security posture.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain OT network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and industrial control systems (ICS).
  • Implement security best practices to protect OT environments from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security weaknesses and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Monitor OT networks for anomalies and security incidents, and respond promptly to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate OT systems with IT infrastructure and ensure seamless operation.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve complex OT network and systems issues.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting OT networks and systems.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing OT devices and protocols, such as Modbus, DNP3, and OPC.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices in OT environments.
  • Experience with industrial cybersecurity tools, such as intrusion detection systems (IDS) and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, or CCNA Cyber Ops are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary:

  • $150,000 per annum
