Senior Access Engineer - Telecommunications

Join this team during this exciting period of growth as a Senior Network Access Engineer, based in their Lubbock, TX office. 

You'll play a pivotal role in supporting our network infrastructure, particularly focusing on Fiber-To-The-Premise (FTTP) access networks for ISPs.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and design Fiber-To-The-Premise (FTTP) access networks for ISPs.
• Implement network designs for access networks and configure equipment/related systems.
• Perform network upgrades and subscriber migrations.
• Configure and test Ethernet circuits.
• Collaborate directly with ISPs to troubleshoot issues in existing access networks.

Skills/Must have:

• Proficiency with Adtran and Calix Routing and Switching.
• Previous experience in a Tier 2 or above position.
• Prior work experience at an ISP or major vendor
