Senior Network Engineer - Financial Org

Are you ready to take the lead as a Senior Network Engineer in a dynamic investment fund company?

As a Senior Network Engineer, your role will encompass the full networking cycle, design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of their network infrastructure, projects, and support in a team of 3 Network Engineers. You should possess a wide range of skills while maintaining a solid foundation in networking, and be comfortable with hands-on tasks. 

You will have a CCNP/CCIE certification or experience with various network technologies, focusing on Cisco routers and switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs, Zero Trust & SD-WAN is highly desirable.

Responsibilities 

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure to support business operations
• Provide technical support for network-related issues, including troubleshooting and problem resolution
• Manage network security and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
• Conduct network performance tuning and capacity planning to ensure optimal network performance
• Evaluate new network technologies and make recommendations for improvements and upgrades
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network infrastructure meets business needs
• Participate in the development and implementation of network-related projects

Experience & Skills 

• CCNP / CCIE certification 
• Expert level of Routing & Switching
• BGP, OSPF
• Implementation of Cisco IsE
• SD-WAN experience 

Salary Details  

• Up to £110,000 basic + bonus
