Senior Network Engineer - Internet Service Provider

Hamilton Barnes are currently representing a Virtual Network Operator based in Germany and are looking for a Senior Network Engineer on an initial 6-Month Contract, with views of extension or the possibility of a permanent position.  

You will be the Senior Engineer working for a Virtual Network Operator (VNO). Work with enterprise-scale WAN networks, where you will lead the charge in designing, implementing, and managing wide-area networks.

Your expertise will be pivotal in orchestrating their high-performing network.

Responsibilities:

• Take on project responsibilities during the presales phase, with a primary focus on capturing and assessing customer requirements.
• You will independently conceptualise and design our complex network solutions and services relating to WAN, remote access, VoIP and security.
• You will implement and fully document the infrastructures and solutions used.
• Lead workshops and adeptly showcase our solutions either on-site or through Webex sessions to our clientele, both national and international.
• Independently conceptualize and craft intricate network solutions, encompassing WAN, remote access, VoIP, and security services.
• Execute and comprehensively document the implemented infrastructures and solutions for seamless deployment.

Skills/Must have:

• MPLS, BGP, OSPF network configuration
• MPLS network design 
• 3rd line support for network related issues
• Fluent German Speaking

Salary:

• €Hourly rate is negotiable
