- Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters that drive the core infrastructure
- Develop and implement automation tools to streamline operational tasks and ensure consistent performance
- Monitor and troubleshoot system health, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain high availability
- Collaborate with software engineers to influence design for reliability and implement best practices
- Perform capacity planning and optimization to accommodate growing traffic demands
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to ensure 24/7 system availability

Experience & Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and management
- Proficiency in Linux system administration and troubleshooting
- Solid programming and scripting skills (Python, Go, Bash, etc.) for automation and tool development
- Familiarity with network protocols, routing, and security principles
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward identifying and addressing potential issues
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
