Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Active Directory services, ensuring efficient user management, security, and group policies
- Oversee backup systems to ensure data integrity and develop strategies for data recovery
- Manage Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) to optimize performance and enhance end-user experience
- Utilize expertise in virtualization to administer Windows servers and endpoints
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize systems infrastructure
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for systems-related concerns
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in system engineering
Experience & Skills
- Proficient in the administration of Active Directory, including user and group management, security policies, and group policies
- Experience with backup systems and data recovery strategies
- In-depth knowledge of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and virtualization technologies
- Strong background in the administration of Windows servers and endpoints
- Proven experience as a System Engineer with a focus on Active Directory and Virtualization
- Strong communication skills in German and English to collaborate with internal teams and clients
- Certifications such as MCSE, VCP, or equivalent are a plus
