We are currently seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team in Stuttgart. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing first-line support and ensuring the seamless operation of our clients' systems.


Responsibilities:

  • First-Line Support:
      • Respond promptly to user inquiries and provide technical assistance via phone, email, or in-person.
      • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and efficient manner.
      • Collaborate with other support teams to ensure swift problem resolution.
  • System Monitoring and Maintenance:
      • Monitor the performance of IT systems and proactively address potential issues.
      • Conduct routine system checks and implem
      • ent preventive maintenance measures.
      • Identify and escalate complex problems to higher-level support teams.
  • Shift Work:
      • Participate in a rotating shift schedule to provide 24/7 support coverage.
      • Ensure continuity of operations by collaborating with team members across different shifts.
      • Respond to critical incidents during off-hours and weekends as needed.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
      • Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system changes.
      • Generate regular reports on system performance and support activities.
      • Contribute to the knowledge base by documenting common issues and solutions.
  • Customer Communication:
      • Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.
      • Provide clear and concise instructions to users for issue resolution.
      • Update users on the status of ongoing support tickets.
  • Collaboration and Training:
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system improvements.
      • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and participate in relevant training programs.
      • Share knowledge and best practices with team members.

Skills/Must have:

  • Proven experience in a systems engineering or IT support role.
  • Fluent in German with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Availability for shift work and on-call responsibilities.

Salary:

  • €45,000 Gross Per Year
