Systems Engineer - IT Solutions Provider

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Consultant for their Managed Services division, with a clear career path towards becoming the Practice Lead or Manager of the Managed Services Consulting Team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, leadership qualities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Key Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Effective time management skills.
• Experience handling multiple issues simultaneously.
• MCSE or equivalent Microsoft Certification.
• Proficiency in desktop and server troubleshooting and management, including expertise in:
  • Active Directory (on-premise, cloud, hybrid)
  • GPO
  • Server upgrades
  • SQL (experience a plus)
  • Best practice server health
  • Exchange (on-premise, cloud, hybrid)
  • Office 365 application administration

General Knowledge:

• Comprehensive understanding of IT fields and their interrelationships, including roles such as Network Engineers, Desktop/Server Administrators, and Cabling Technicians.
• Familiarity with IP Subnetting.
• Demonstrated experience leading a team.
• Previous IT support in multiple industries is a plus.
• Basic understanding of data/wireless networking principles is advantageous.
• Experience with scripting is a plus.
• Previous consulting experience is highly desirable.
• Connectwise experience is advantageous.

Location: 

• Houston, TX – Regular travel to and from customer locations within Houston.

Salary:

• $60,000 - $100,000
