Are you an experienced Technical Author ready to take on an exciting challenge? Join our client, a leading technology solutions provider with a strong focus on innovation and excellence.

You will be joining an International is globally recognised technology and engineering services company committed to delivering critical and complex support across various industries in this initial 6-month contract for a long-term program.

Responsibilities:

  • Create Maintenance and Operational Procedures for in-service equipment.
  • Generate both structured and unstructured Technical Publications, incorporating graphics and animations in accordance with international writing specifications and/or defence standards.
  • Interview Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and translate their insights into technically accurate and safe procedural steps.

Skills:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and XML, with an expectation to further develop these skills.
  • Possess the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including 3D CAD Models, and Bills of Materials to create technical information.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a mastery of the 5Cs.
  • Bring previous experience in supporting defence equipment, coupled with a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and communication systems.

Duration: 6 Months 

Determination: Inside IR35 

Day rate: £225PD - £275PD
