Technical Runner - MSSP

We are partnered with a managed IT service provider that offers a variety of services to businesses, including cybersecurity, compliance, managed IT, co-managed IT, data analytics, cloud computing, VoIP phone systems, and business internet. They help businesses leverage enterprise-grade technology management solutions at small business prices.

Join their team as a Technical Runner, where you'll be responsible for completing errands and assisting with non-technical tasks in our Service Department. This role requires versatility, adaptability, and a willingness to take on various responsibilities assigned by our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to the UPS Store office used by ITS to collect and process mail for our office.
• Assist with the transportation and setup of client equipment at various locations.
• Set up workstations and basic network devices, ensuring connectivity.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and replacements as needed.
• Procure emergency parts or equipment from local suppliers as required.
• Manage corporate credit card usage, expenses, and documentation.

Technical Must Haves:

• Ability to set up computer workstations and ensure network connectivity.
• Proficiency in connecting NAS devices to local networks.
• Capability to replace field-serviceable parts within computers.

Compensation:

• Starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $22.46 per hour, depending on experience and location. 
• Opportunities for pay increases and career advancement are available through the acquisition of certifications.

  • CompTIA Security+, 
  • CompTIA Network+, 
  • Microsoft MCDST, or 
  • MCP
