We are seeking a talented and experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our client As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through the design, implementation, and execution of automated tests.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and design appropriate test strategies.
  • Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our test automation framework and processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in test automation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in test automation engineering.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience with web application testing frameworks and technologies (e.g., Angular, Bootstrap).
  • Familiarity with SQL and database testing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Advantageous to have:

  • Experience with the Strapi product or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of additional testing tools and frameworks.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Salary:

  • £53,000 per annum, with an additional £3,000 bonus.
