We are partnered with a dynamic IT services provider dedicated to delivering exceptional support and solutions to clients.

As a Tier 1 Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to their clients, ensuring their IT systems operate smoothly and efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support:
      • Respond to client technical issues via phone, email, or ticketing system.
      • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related problems.
      • Ensure timely resolution of technical issues to minimize client downtime.
  • Client Communication:
      • Establish rapport with clients and provide clear technical explanations.
      • Keep clients informed about the status of their support tickets.
      • Identify opportunities to enhance clients' IT environments.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
      • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and resolutions.
      • Document common technical issues and solutions.
      • Generate reports on service desk performance metrics.
  • Technical Expertise:
      • Stay updated on latest technologies and industry trends.
      • Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills.
      • Provide feedback on product improvements and client needs.
  • Team Collaboration:
      • Collaborate with service desk and other departments.
      • Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues.
      • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in technical support role preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and networking concepts.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
