This fantastic company is now seeking a Virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO), to provide remote technology and strategic leadership for organizations. Your primary responsibilities include:

  1. Strategic Planning:

    • Develop IT strategies aligned with business objectives.
    • Identify opportunities for technology-driven competitive advantages.
    • Recommend IT investments supporting organizational growth.
  2. Budgeting:

    • Develop and manage the IT budget, forecasting future expenditures.
    • Negotiate vendor contracts and ensure budget compliance.
  3. Project Management:

    • Oversee planning and execution of IT projects.
    • Manage timelines, budgets, and resources for successful project delivery.
  4. Security:

    • Ensure a secure IT infrastructure and implement security measures.
    • Develop and enforce security policies, conduct audits, and ensure compliance.
  5. Vendor Management:

    • Manage relationships with IT vendors.
    • Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure services meet organizational needs.
  6. Technical Support:

    • Provide technical support to employees and customers.
    • Manage help desk services, troubleshoot issues, and maintain IT systems.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Excellent project management skills for overseeing IT initiatives.
  • Background in IT management or related field.

Requirements:

  • Four-year degree in a technology-related major (not from an online school)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with a Managed Service Provider
  • One of the following certifications or a more recent Microsoft certification:
    • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
    • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
    • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)

Salary: $120,000
