Wireless Network Optimisation Engineer - Engineering Firm

As a Network Wireless Optimization Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of the wireless network, which was installed two years ago. Your primary focus will be on ensuring it operates at peak performance, optimizing configurations, and maximizing the overall efficiency of the network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and optimize the performance of the existing wireless network infrastructure.
• Conduct regular evaluations to ensure the network is functioning at its highest capacity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement optimization strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve wireless network issues to maintain seamless operation.
• Work closely with wireless vendors, including Cisco Wireless Aironet (80%), DNA Center & Cisco ISE, Aruba (10%), and Cisco Meraki (10%).

Requirements:

• Proven experience in optimizing wireless networks.
• In-depth knowledge of Cisco Wireless Aironet, DNA Center & Cisco ISE.
• Familiarity with Aruba and Cisco Meraki is advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in resolving wireless network issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and make data-driven optimization decisions.

Location:

This role offers flexibility in terms of location. You can work remotely or choose to be based in one of their offices located in the UK. They value collaboration and innovation, whether you are contributing from the office or the comfort of your home.

Salary:

• £50,000 to £70,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
