The role focuses on supporting day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with German regulations, and working closely with management and external advisors to provide clear financial reporting and business support.

Responsibilities:

• Management of day-to-day bookkeeping and financial transactions
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Handling of accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Processing and verification of incoming and outgoing invoices
• Support with payroll preparation and processing
• Management of bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns and other tax filings in compliance with German regulations
• Collaboration with external tax advisors and auditors
• Support with budget planning, cost controlling, and financial forecasting
• Maintenance of accurate financial records and documentation
• Assisting management with financial analysis and reporting as required

Skills/Must Have:

• Completed qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a comparable discipline
• Proven experience in a similar accounting or finance role
• Experience with bookkeeping, financial reporting, and month-end and year-end processes
• Proficiency in common accounting software such as DATEV, SAP, or similar
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 - particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail with a structured and organised working style
• Business fluent English written and spoken are required
• German language skills advantageous

Salary:

• Up to €50,000 basic salary per year
