This company is looking for an experienced Applications Lead to support a major M&A programme, guiding clients through Discovery and into Design and Implementation as they work towards a Day 1 operating state.

Responsibilities:
- Lead detailed Discovery activity, progressing into design and implementation phases ahead of Day-1 readiness
- Assess applications architecture, strategy, and build roadmap
- Develop an application landscape view and transitional roadmap
- Identify business-critical applications and set implementation priorities
- Support system implementation, configuration, and integration workstreams
- Provide technical guidance to ensure alignment with security and operational standards
- Deliver training and knowledge transfer to client teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement and best-practice initiatives
Skills:
- Broad knowledge of applications across core business functions, including:
- Operations, Production & Maintenance
- Reporting
- Control/management systems
- Solid understanding of deployment and infrastructure models
- Prior experience as an Applications Lead or Applications Portfolio Manager on large-scale M&A projects
- Familiarity with varied applications delivery models
- Experience managing software vendor relationships
- Strong grasp of IT infrastructure, integration technologies, and system architecture
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a client-first mindset
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Contract Details:
- 6-month contract (Outside IR35)
- Location in Glasgow
