This opportunity is for a Healthcare Practice Leader to drive the growth and delivery of healthcare projects across the Southern region. The role combines business development, technical leadership, and team management, overseeing major healthcare programs while shaping regional strategy and expanding a high-performing practice.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the pursuit, winning, and execution of healthcare projects across the region
- Oversee and expand an existing regional healthcare team and maintain client satisfaction
- Generate new revenue and grow existing revenue streams within the healthcare market (target $1M–$3M annual average over two years)
- Develop and deepen a network of prospective clients and partners, owners, architects, PM/CM firms, and key general contractors
- Track leads, forecast the project pipeline, and develop winning strategies and teams
- Develop, review, and coordinate the regional practice area business plan in line with the global healthcare plan
- Ensure technical excellence of project delivery and provide expert resolution of issues
- Oversee project financials and interoffice/client reporting structure
- Lead and support sales presentations, focusing on selling integrated services
- Strategically recruit senior staff with market-specific experience and provide leadership to direct reports
- Stay abreast of the market regionally and nationally; write articles, white papers, and speak at industry events
Skills / Must Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (exceptional candidates may substitute significant years of experience)
- PE registration (required)
- 15+ years of design experience, preferably a minimum of 5 years in consulting engineering or an A/E firm
- Minimum 5 years' management experience
- 5+ years' experience developing business for engineering
- Thorough knowledge of MEP systems
- A recognized expert within the healthcare market focus
- Strong leadership, relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
