Audio Visual Engineer - Data and AV Service Provider

Key Responsibilities: 

• System Design and Planning: Work with clients to understand their AV needs and design tailored solutions. Prepare technical documentation.
• Installation and Configuration: Visit sites, integrate AV systems, and ensure optimal performance. Manage cables and ensure connectivity.
• Operation and Troubleshooting: Set up and run AV systems for events. Test and troubleshoot technical issues, offering support during events.
• Maintenance and Upgrades: Perform routine maintenance, updates, and upgrades. Stay updated on industry trends and recommend enhancements.
• Documentation and Training: Maintain records, create user manuals, and provide training materials for clients and colleagues.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Education: Tertiary qualifications in Electronics Engineering, Network Engineering, or related fields preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in AV industry, with technical presales or solution design focus.
• Technical Expertise: Experience in designing and deploying AV systems, knowledge of AV protocols and networking concepts.
• Certifications: AVIXA CTS, manufacturer certifications (Crestron, Extron, QSC, AMX), proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Bluebeam/AutoCAD.
• Security Clearance: NV1 security clearance or ability to obtain it.
• Regulatory Accreditations: General Induction – White Card, Asbestos Awareness, Asbestos Containment, Silica Awareness.
