The company is looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer to work closely with the CEO and leadership team, with responsibility across data centre development, construction, commissioning, site operations, commercial execution, and organisational growth. Responsibilities:

• Translate the company's strategic vision into clear operating plans, priorities, and performance objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring strong coordination across development, engineering, construction, finance, procurement, legal, and commercial functions.
• Establish scalable operating processes, governance structures, and decision-making frameworks.
• Provide executive oversight across the full data center lifecycle, site selection, due diligence, design, permitting, construction, commissioning, and ongoing operations.
• Oversee operational readiness, including staffing, maintenance programs, incident response, capacity planning, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
• Monitor power availability, utility relationships, interconnection requirements, and cooling strategies.
• Partner with the CEO and commercial leadership on customer opportunities, strategic partnerships, and joint ventures.
• Support acquisitions and strategic transactions, including due diligence, integration planning, and deal execution.
• Partner with Finance on annual operating plans, budgets, and capital allocation.
• Build and develop a high-performing organization, including executive hiring and succession planning.
• Serve as a trusted strategic and operational partner to the CEO, providing clear reporting to the executive team and Board of Directors.

Skills/Must Have:

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience across complex operations, infrastructure, development, or technology-driven businesses
• Prior experience as a COO, President, Head of Operations, or comparable senior executive
• Experience within data centers, critical infrastructure, energy, utilities, real estate development, construction, cloud infrastructure, or telecommunications
• Strong understanding of data center development and operations, power, cooling, construction, commissioning, reliability, capacity planning
• Proven ability to manage large-scale projects across multiple internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, contract negotiations
• Experience supporting acquisitions, joint ventures, or other complex transactions
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance, operations, or construction management (advanced degree preferred)
• Willingness to travel up to 35%

Salary:

• $230,000 – $250,000 base + Bonus + Equity
