Responsibilities:

  • Build multi-year customer technology roadmaps (6, 9, 12+ months) that sit within a broader strategic maturity model
  • Develop a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges to speak the customer's language and challenge assumptions constructively
  • Build and maintain relationships across all levels of a customer organisation, from C-suite to operational leads
  • Use customer feedback to directly inform and improve internal processes and service offerings
  • Support the sales team as a technical authority across the full Cisco portfolio
  • Manage multiple concurrent customer engagements in a high-volume MSP environment


Skills / Must Have:

  • CCIE certification (Enterprise or Security) this is a non-negotiable requirement; candidates who are well advanced on the certification path will also be considered
  • Strong hands-on knowledge across the Cisco portfolio including Catalyst Switching, Nexus, Catalyst and Meraki Wireless, Meraki SD-WAN, and Cisco Security (Secure Access, Duo, Umbrella, Secure Client, FTDs)
  • Proven ability to manage 10 to 15 customer conversations simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Warm, confident communicator who can build rapport and constructively challenge customer thinking
  • Experience with additional vendors such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Juniper is a plus
  • Ability to "talk the language" of APIs, Python, and Infrastructure as Code is advantageous
