We are seeking a talented Cisco UC Engineer with extensive experience in routing and switching to join their team in San Antonio, TX. 

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Cisco Unified Communications (UC) solutions, as well as managing and optimizing network routing and switching infrastructure for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cisco UC Implementation: Design, deploy, and configure Cisco Unified Communications solutions, including CallManager, Unity Connection, and Contact Center Express, to meet the communication needs of our clients.
• Network Routing and Switching: Configure and maintain Cisco routers and switches to ensure optimal network performance, reliability, and security.
• VoIP Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to VoIP call quality, connectivity, and performance.
• Collaboration with Clients: Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and provide customized Cisco UC solutions that align with their goals and objectives.
• Documentation and Reporting: Create comprehensive documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and support procedures, to ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing.
• Technical Support: Provide proactive and reactive support to address client inquiries, incidents, and service requests related to Cisco UC and network infrastructure.
• Stay Updated: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in Cisco UC, routing, and switching to continuously enhance our service offerings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications solutions.
• Strong knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, and BGP.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches (e.g., Catalyst, Nexus).
• Experience with VoIP technologies and protocols (e.g., SIP, H.323) and related troubleshooting tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
