The organization is currently on the lookout for a Cisco Voice Engineer to join its 3rd line engineering team on a permanent, fully remote basis. The ideal candidate will be a Cisco voice and collaboration specialist with solid general networking skills, supporting complex 3rd line tickets for enterprise customers with their own internal engineering functions and assisting with overflow routing and switching work.

Responsibilities:

• Providing 3rd line remote support across Cisco voice and collaboration technologies for enterprise customers
• Assisting with overflow routing and switching tickets at CCNA level across the wider team
• Contributing to design work alongside the engineering team
• Supporting on-site deployments for project work where required
• Providing cover and technical support alongside the existing voice engineering resource

Skills/Must Have:

• Cisco voice and collaboration experience, primary focus and non-negotiable requirement
• Routing and switching skills to CCNA level minimum, required to assist with overflow R&S tickets
• 3rd line support background - comfortable handling complex tickets independently
• Cisco-focused background, legacy telephony platforms such as Mitel or Avaya are not relevant to this role

Desirable Skills:

• Broader Cisco collaboration stack experience
• Network design or on-site deployment project experience
• CCNP level routing and switching
