The ideal candidate will bring deep Cisco security expertise, particularly hands-on Cisco ISE experience, handling complex tickets that often sit at the boundary between support and project work. This role is driven by a significant rise in vulnerability management workload and a clear skills gap in Cisco security within the team.

Responsibilities:

• Providing 3rd line remote support across Cisco security technologies for enterprise customers
• Assessing and remediating vulnerabilities including firmware updates, scoping, and prioritisation
• Contributing to network design work alongside the wider engineering team
• Supporting on-site deployments for project work where required
• Working collaboratively within a mixed-tenure team across complex, concurrent customer environments

Skills/Must Have:

• Cisco ISE experience, this is the single most important requirement for the role and candidates without it will not be progressed
• Security-leaning engineering background across Cisco products
• Vulnerability assessment and remediation experience - scoping, prioritising, and actioning vulnerability work
• 3rd line support background, comfortable handling complex tickets independently from arrival

Desirable Skills:

• Cisco XDR experience (highly advantageous given upcoming project pipeline)
• Cisco SD-Access
• Network design or on-site deployment project experience
