The organisation is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Solution Architect on a 6-month hybrid contract based in Reading, UK (3 days on-site). The role requires strong hands-on cybersecurity expertise focused on designing and improving enterprise security across both IT and OT environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design and define end-to-end cybersecurity solutions aligned with enterprise security standards and business requirements
• Lead vulnerability identification, assessment, prioritisation, and remediation across large enterprise IT and OT environments
• Provide architectural guidance on secure system design, threat modelling, and risk-based decision making
• Work closely with infrastructure, application, and OT teams to embed security controls into architectures and operations
• Support continuous improvement of vulnerability management processes and overall security posture

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• 5+ years hands-on cybersecurity experience in enterprise environments, with strong expertise in vulnerability management including identification, tracking, remediation, and reporting
• Proven exposure to OT security and vulnerability management across Operational Technology environments
• Experience as a security architect across multiple security domains, with knowledge of Zero Trust security frameworks
• Ability to translate security requirements into practical solutions, working across cross-functional infrastructure, application, and OT teams
• Experience working within water utilities or regulated critical infrastructure environments

• Contract Type: Initial 6 month contract (Inside IR35)

Salary:

• £600 per day Inside IR35
