The well-funded Luxembourg-based company is at a pivotal stage of its growth,  they are seeking a Control Engineer to join the Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) team. With a space mission scheduled to launch within the next six months and several new contracts secured, this is an opportunity to join an established team with proven technology, active missions, and strong momentum ahead of its next phase of expansion.

The role combines control systems design with hands-on engineering, offering the opportunity to work directly with physical systems, prototyping, and hardware as products progress towards production. Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design, assembly, sizing, and testing of control systems.
• Develop simulations and models for GNC systems.
• Conduct hands-on prototyping and laboratory-based characterisation of physical systems.
• Support system identification activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across hardware, software, and systems integration.

Skills / Must have:

• Experience in control system design.
• Demonstrable laboratory experience involving system identification and real hardware characterisation.
• Ability to work beyond purely simulation-based environments.
• EU citizenship, required for defence programme work.
• Fluency in English.
• Professional experience within a relevant engineering environment.
• Experience with laser communications or cross-pointing assemblies is highly desirable.
