A newly created opportunity exists for a Critical Facilities Manager to run the company’s site in Stuttgart, taking day-to-day ownership of the facility. The ideal candidate will act as the main point of contact for customers and stakeholders while coordinating the external agencies and contractors who keep the site running, with real influence over how processes and standards develop as the business grows.

Responsibilities:

• Run day-to-day operations of the Heidelberg data centre site
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, with a strong focus on service quality
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Manage and coordinate external agencies, contractors and service providers
•  Oversee maintenance, site compliance and health and safety
• Work alongside a team that already includes colleagues with data centre experience
• Help shape processes and standards as the business grows

Skills/Must Have:

• German at B2 level or above
• Strong customer service skills and confidence liaising with stakeholders
• Experience managing or coordinating external agencies, contractors and service providers
• Ability to take ownership of running a site day to day
• Eager to learn, with the right attitude valued over years of experience
• Based in, or able to commute to, Heidelberg
• Nice to have: 2 to 3 years of data centre experience
• Nice to have: background in a smaller data centre or in-house corporate environment, such as automotive or industrial
• Nice to have: comfortable in a start-up environment where processes are still being built

Salary:

• Up to €80,000 Per Year
