This opportunity is for a Critical Facilities Technician to support the day-to-day operation of a mission-critical data center. The role focuses on maintaining electrical, mechanical, cooling, and monitoring systems, performing maintenance, responding to incidents, and ensuring the reliable operation of critical infrastructure within a 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities:
- Perform planned and corrective maintenance across critical electrical and mechanical systems.
- Monitor infrastructure systems using BMS, EPMS, and SCADA platforms.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and equipment failures, carrying out troubleshooting and escalation where required.
- Support operation and maintenance of:
- Switchgear
- UPS systems
- Generators
- HVAC and cooling infrastructure
- Conduct routine inspections and operational checks across the facility.
- Support incident management and root-cause analysis activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, operational standards, and site processes.
- Work closely with vendors, subcontractors, and internal operations teams.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and operational documentation.
- Participate in on-call and shift-based support within a 24/7 environment.
Skills/Must have:
- Experience within data centers, critical facilities, industrial, or mission-critical environments.
- Strong understanding of:
- Electrical distribution systems
- UPS systems and backup power
- Generators and switchgear
- HVAC / CRAC / cooling systems
- Experience using BMS / EPMS / SCADA monitoring systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
- Understanding of operational procedures, safety standards, and escalation processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced 24/7 operational environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
