The organization is currently on the lookout for a CUCM Engineer to deploy, configure, automate, and validate Cisco Unified Communications environments. The ideal candidate will support the complete Cisco Collaboration stack, from automated deployment and configuration through integration testing, troubleshooting, and operational handover, while resolving complex signalling, media, routing, and integration issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement automated deployment and provisioning pipelines for Cisco Unified Communications platforms
  • Deploy, configure and validate Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) v15
  • Configure and support Cisco Jabber, Cisco Meeting Server (CMS) v3 and Cisco Unified Border Element (vCUBE) v17
  • Configure and validate SIP endpoints, SIP trunks and voice gateways
  • Implement and maintain dial plans and PSTN integrations
  • Perform CUCM cluster configuration and post-installation activities
  • Configure Jabber services and CMS conferencing integrations
  • Configure vCUBE and SIP federation between Unified Communications environments
  • Manage certificates and secure communications across the Cisco UC environment
  • Develop, maintain and troubleshoot Ansible playbooks
  • Develop and maintain Argo Workflow orchestration
  • Integrate Cisco UC platforms using AXL, SOAP and REST APIs
  • Support Infrastructure as Code, automated provisioning and zero-touch deployment processes
  • Perform lab-based integration and system verification testing
  • Execute functional, operational, performance and interoperability testing
  • Validate federation scenarios between independent Cisco Collaboration domains
  • Carry out acceptance testing and operational readiness validation
  • Collect and maintain technical deployment, testing and acceptance evidence
  • Produce clear test and verification documentation
  • Analyse logs, traces and packet captures to diagnose technical issues
  • Troubleshoot signalling, media, routing, security and platform-related issues
  • Use CUCM RTMT, CMS diagnostics, vCUBE logs and network analysis tools for fault investigation
  • Perform root cause analysis for complex UC and networking issues
  • Support the transition of solutions from engineering and testing into operational environments
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the deployment lifecycle


Skills/Must Have:

  • Strong hands-on Cisco Unified Communications engineering experience
