Data Center Facilities Ops Manager - AI Infrastructure

This opportunity is for a Data Center Operations Manager to build and lead the facilities operations function across mission-critical environments. The role works closely with senior leadership, construction, and engineering teams to establish operational processes, develop teams, and define standards across large-scale data center infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Build and lead a team responsible for the operation and maintenance of critical MEP infrastructure including UPS, generators, HVAC, chillers and electrical systems
• Develop and implement operational procedures including SOPs, MOPs and EOPs while establishing scalable operational standards
• Own site uptime and reliability, leading incident response, root cause analysis and operational improvements
• Define and track KPIs across safety, availability and operational performance while reporting into leadership teams
• Partner with construction and design engineering teams on commissioning activities and new site developments
• Manage vendors, maintenance contracts, compliance standards and continuous improvement initiatives across the facilities environment

Skills/Must Have:

• 8+ years of experience within data center operations, critical facilities or mission critical environments
• 5+ years leading technical teams within 24/7 operational environments
• Strong hands on knowledge of MEP systems including UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, HVAC and electrical distribution
• Experience developing SOPs, MOPs, EOPs and preventative maintenance programs
• Experience building operational processes within fast paced or scaling environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and leadership teams
• Familiarity with DCIM, CMMS and change management processes

Desirable Skills:

• Hyperscale or multi site data center experience
• Experience commissioning new data center builds
• PMP, Six Sigma or PE certifications
• Experience within high density or AI focused data center environments
