Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the IT support team responsible for critical data centre infrastructure.
- Manage server hardware, enterprise networking and fibre infrastructure to ensure maximum availability.
- Oversee hardware installations, upgrades, decommissioning and infrastructure projects.
- Drive KPI performance, incident management and continuous operational improvements.
- Manage IT asset lifecycle activities, including inventory management and vendor RMAs.
- Work closely with internal engineering teams and external vendors to deliver infrastructure projects and maintain operational excellence.
Skills/Must Have:
- 5+ years' experience managing IT support teams within a data centre or mission-critical environment.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of enterprise server hardware, networking equipment and fibre infrastructure.
- Experience delivering infrastructure projects and managing operational planning.
- Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes and service management best practices.
- Linux command line experience.
- Experience managing hardware lifecycle, asset management and RMA processes.
- Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel for operational reporting and KPI management.
Desirable Skills:
- ITIL and/or PMI certification.
- Category B driving licence.
