The consulting firm has partnered with a leading banking and financial services organisation seeking a Data Governance professional to support the design and implementation of enterprise data governance capabilities. The role involves establishing policies, standards, and controls to enhance data quality, compliance, and governance practices while working closely with business and technology stakeholders to drive adoption and ensure alignment with regulatory and organizational requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and enhance data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
  • Support compliance initiatives aligned to relevant data regulations and governance requirements.
  • Design and implement solutions using Collibra and other leading data governance platforms.
  • Drive improvements in data quality, data management, metadata management, and governance processes.
  • Work with stakeholders to establish governance roles, responsibilities, and operating models.
  • Contribute to data architecture, ETL, and data life cycle management initiatives.
  • Support cloud-based data governance strategies across modern platforms.


Skills/Must Have:

  • Strong experience in Data Governance and Data Management within BFSI environments.
  • Experience implementing enterprise data governance solutions using Collibra.
  • Strong understanding of data compliance, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of data architecture, data quality, ETL processes, and data management principles.
  • Experience working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and GCP.
  • Understanding of governance policies, standards, roles, and controls required to manage enterprise data.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and consulting skills.
