This opportunity is for an experienced Data Center Engineer to support high-performance infrastructure environments. The role combines hands-on data center operations, deployment engineering, hardware integration, structured cabling, and colocation project delivery across multiple sites, with occasional travel to data center locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead deployment and support of physical datacenter infrastructure across regional and global sites.
  • Manage server installations, structured cabling, power distribution, and hardware maintenance.
  • Support network deployment and low-latency infrastructure operations.
  • Deliver infrastructure expansion, migration, and equipment relocation projects.
  • Perform server integration tasks including PCIe/NIC installation, firmware upgrades, diagnostics, and component replacement.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and infrastructure providers.
  • Produce and maintain operational documentation, testing procedures, and change management processes.
  • Assist with inventory, logistics, and asset tracking where required.


Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in datacenter engineering or infrastructure operations.
  • Strong networking knowledge including routing, switching, and multicast technologies.
  • Experience supporting low-latency or high-performance infrastructure environments.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise network hardware, fibre optics, and optical networking.
  • Comfortable working directly with server hardware and datacenter equipment.
  • Strong operational discipline, documentation, and change management practices.
  • Experience delivering colocation and multi-site infrastructure projects preferred.


Salary:

  • Up to $250,000
