The company is currently on the lookout for a Data Centre Engineer to join its team. The ideal candidate will take hands-on ownership of local facility operations, ensuring optimal uptime and performance for mission-critical IT infrastructure. Core responsibilities include maintaining site power and cooling systems, managing physical server hardware installations, and overseeing day-to-day facility operations to support continuous global reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Owning day-to-day operation and maintenance of critical facilities infrastructure
• Monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting HVAC and cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH, chillers, airflow management)
• Supporting electrical infrastructure including UPS, switchgear, PDUs and generators
• Responding to alarms and incidents, carrying out root cause analysis and following through on fixes
• Coordinating and supervising third-party contractors and vendors on site
• Planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules
• Supporting capacity planning, installs and site improvements
• Keeping documentation, procedures and compliance records up to date

Skills/Must have:

• Experience in a data centre, mission-critical or similar facilities engineering environment
• Strong practical knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems
• Experience with UPS, generators and power distribution
• Comfortable working independently on site and making sound decisions under pressure
• Clear communicator, able to work with a remote team based in Europe
• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications (electrical, HVAC, EPA 608, CDCTP or similar) are a plus

Salary:

• €70,000 - €90,000
