The company is inviting applications from experienced professionals for the role of Desktop Systems Engineer. The successful candidate will deliver hands-on technical support for trading floor and corporate end-users, overseeing the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of workstation hardware and operating systems. Key duties include administering user accounts and access permissions, maintaining collaboration platforms, and troubleshooting hardware components. Additionally, the ideal candidate will utilize scripting tools to automate routine tasks and evaluate new software to continuously refine IT operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite desktop support for corporate office and trading floor users.
  • Set up, configure, and upgrade desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Manage user accounts, device provisioning, VPN access, and permissions.
  • Support conference room technology and remote collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom).
  • Perform hardware installations (monitors, cards, etc.) and troubleshoot issues.
  • Automate recurring support tasks and contribute to process improvements.
  • Evaluate new tools and technologies for internal use.


Requirements:

  • Strong experience supporting Windows 11
  • Familiar with workstation builds, encryption tools
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Excel) and Exchange.
  • Knowledge of SCCM/MEMCM or similar systems (2+ years preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • PowerShell Scripting (Python Preferred)


Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Intune, macOS or Linux support.
