The role involves overseeing engineering, construction, and delivery across multiple FTTH programs, driving execution on BEAD-funded and greenfield projects, and ensuring rapid, end-to-end build progression across a major expanding network.

Responsibilities:

• Own engineering & construction across Texas
• Lead multiple Project Managers in-region
• Drive FTTH builds (greenfield + BEAD)
• Resolve field issues and delivery blockers
• Ensure build quality and engineering standards
• Manage vendors and construction partners
• Maintain pace toward year-end build targets
• Align engineering, construction, and field teams
• Skills / Must Have:
• Fiber engineering + construction background
• Led large-scale FTTH build programs
• Managed multiple concurrent deployments
• Hands-on, field-driven leadership style
• Strong problem-solving in live builds
• Rural or BEAD-funded project experience (ideal)

Location & Working Pattern:

• Location: Austin/Bastrop or North/Northeast Houston
• Full-time, permanent
• Leading ~5,000 miles of fiber build at scale
• Highly selective process (2–3 hires max shortlist)
