Responsibilities:

  • Lead OSP Engineering, Construction, Permitting, and Inspection teams.
  • Own capital planning, budgeting, and program execution.
  • Develop and maintain long-term OSP network expansion strategies.
  • Oversee fiber route planning, feasibility studies, and cost estimates.
  • Manage permitting, rights-of-way, and third-party relationships.
  • Direct contractor performance, field quality, and project schedules.
  • Establish engineering standards, documentation, and QA/QC processes.
  • Partner with Sales on customer opportunities and project delivery planning.
  • Report program performance, risks, and strategic initiatives to executive leadership.
  • Lead network restoration activities during major outages and service disruptions.


Skills/Must Have:

  • 10+ years of telecommunications OSP engineering experience.
  • Previous leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong understanding of fiber network planning and design.
  • Experience with aerial and underground construction methodologies.
  • Expertise in permitting and right-of-way coordination.
  • Experience with GIS, CAD, and network record systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
