Responsibilities:
- Own and standardise project management practices across the region, staying ahead of industry trends and best practices
- Hold end-to-end responsibility for all projects, ensuring the right processes and escalation routes are followed
- Lead multiple projects spanning brownfield/greenfield development, implementation and handover to internal stakeholders
- Scope integration plans and align leadership on vision, approach and timeline
- Build and manage relationships with power companies and governmental building authorities
- Support due diligence and post-acquisition integration planning
- Maintain and evolve internal design/build standards, overseeing consistent implementation across countries
- Partner with country managing directors, sales and customer service teams to ensure seamless client delivery
- Manage senior-level relationships with partners and vendors
- Build, mentor and lead a high-performing project management team
- Guide department heads to ensure alignment with organisational goals
- Ensure design and construction comply with industry standards, regulations, security protocols and internal compliance guidelines
Skills/Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience managing complex data centre builds
- Strong technical understanding of data centre project management
- Strong analytical skills to track and predict trends
- Proven ability to build effective working relationships across countries and functions
- Self-starter, able to work independently and cross-functionally
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Creative problem-solver with a can-do mentality
- Fluent professional communication in two major European languages
