This position offers the chance to join a cutting-edge satellite technology company in Luxembourg as a Senior RF Front-End Engineer, leading the development of Ka-band Direct Radiating Array (DRA) subsystems for next-generation Low Earth Orbit satellites. Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of Ka-band Direct Radiating Antenna payload subsystems
- Design and develop GaN and GaAs-based RF electronics including high-power amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers, and RF filtering
- Define requirements for noise figure, gain, power added efficiency, and linearity across the RF chain
- Develop and deliver Transmit/Receive RF Front-End subsystems at production scale
- Work across the full design lifecycle from requirements definition through to delivery and validation
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on antenna and payload integration
Skills / Must Have:
- Master's degree or higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- 10+ years of electronics design experience, preferably within the space sector
- Strong hands-on expertise with RF simulation tools (ADS, HFSS, CST, MATLAB, Altium)
- Deep knowledge of GaN and GaAs-based RF front-end design
- Eligibility for SECRET security clearance under Luxembourg law (non-negotiable)
- Experience with GRASP antenna software is a plus
- Background in software-defined radio and DSP is advantageous
