Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver end-to-end IP transport architectures across complex multi-vendor environments.
• Develop and optimize IP/MPLS networks and mobile backhaul solutions.
• Produce logical network designs aligned with 3GPP standards, including network segregation and logical mapping.
• Design and implement IP interconnect solutions to support high-performance connectivity.
• Configure and optimise Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching architectures.
• Lead the design and optimisation of Application Delivery Controller (ADC) and load-balancing solutions.
• Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements and produce high-quality network designs.
• Support network integration, migration, and transformation projects from design through implementation.
• Carry out technical assessments and provide recommendations to improve performance, scalability, and resilience.
• Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation and design artefacts.
• Keep up to date with emerging networking technologies and industry best practices.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Proven experience working as a Network Architect or Senior Network Design Engineer within large enterprise or telecom environments.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • IP/MPLS
  • Mobile Backhaul
  • IP Interconnect
  • 3GPP Logical Mapping
  • Network Segregation
  • Layer 2 & Layer 3 Switching
  • ADC / Load Balancing technologies
• Experience designing highly available, scalable IP transport networks.
• Strong understanding of network architecture principles and end-to-end service design.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent English is essential.

Desirable Skills:

• Industry certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, F5, or equivalent.
• Experience working within mobile network or telecommunications environments.
• Knowledge of network security best practices for IP transport infrastructures.
• Experience working across international or distributed teams.

Salary:

• €300 per day
