Working in a hands-on, site-based position, the successful candidate will collaborate with construction, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of critical electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site electrical engineering support across a growing data centre campus portfolio in the Frankfurt Rhine-Main area
• Support the installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems including HV/LV distribution, UPS, switchgear, generators, PDUs, and associated electrical infrastructure
• Monitor and maintain electrical system performance to ensure continuous, uninterrupted data centre operations
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical faults promptly to protect operational continuity and minimise risk
• Coordinate with construction, commissioning, and operations teams during new build and fit-out phases
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, electrical records, test reports, and compliance documentation
• Support planned preventative maintenance programmes across all electrical systems
• Liaise with EPC contractors, equipment manufacturers, and specialist electrical vendors on-site
• Ensure all electrical works comply with relevant German and European standards, regulations, and safety requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement of electrical system performance and energy efficiency in line with the company's sustainability and climate-neutral objectives

Skills/Must have:

• Qualified Electrical Engineer with a degree or equivalent technical qualification in electrical engineering or a related discipline
• Proven hands-on experience in electrical engineering within data centres, mission-critical facilities, industrial, or high-specification commercial environments
• Strong knowledge of HV/LV electrical distribution, UPS systems, switchgear, generators, and associated electrical plant
• Experience supporting or delivering commissioning and testing activities on electrical systems, including FAT and SAT
• Familiarity with German and European electrical standards and regulations (e.g. VDE, DIN)
• Ability to work effectively on site in a fast-paced, operationally critical environment
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and a proactive, safety-conscious approach
• German required (working proficiency essential for site and stakeholder engagement)
• EU citizenship required
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary on-site teams

Salary:

• Up to €130,000 Per Year
