The company is looking for an Electrical Engineer III to join its Raleigh, NC office on a hybrid basis, taking ownership of complex assignments, mentoring junior engineers, and representing the firm to clients. Responsibilities:

  • Delegate tasks and provide guidance to team members
  • Lead discipline-specific design for medium to large projects with limited Revit use
  • Review and direct complex designs, calculations, and simulations
  • Review complex submittals and shop drawings
  • Respond to complex RFIs
  • Conduct targeted site visits to resolve critical issues
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation
  • Participate in project meetings, offering high-level technical input
  • Ensure project delivery meets schedule and budget targets
  • Support workplan development and adjust for scope/schedule changes


Skills/Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, or Communications Engineering
  • 6+ years of progressive AEC industry experience
  • Relevant professional licensure/certification preferred (PE, CPD, FPE, RCDD, etc.), or 15+ years' experience in lieu of license
  • Expertise across multiple engineering software platforms
  • Advanced understanding of codes, standards, and QA/QC processes
  • Proven ability to mentor and lead junior engineers
  • Strong client-facing and presentation skills
