The company is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead the design of mission-critical high-performance computing (HPC) data centre infrastructure across global projects. The role focuses on delivering reliable, high-density environments by overseeing power system design from medium voltage distribution to rack-level delivery. Acting as the Engineer of Record, the role sets engineering standards, solves complex power challenges, and uses modern tools, including AI, to improve design and delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • System Design: Lead the electrical design for critical infrastructure projects, including generator plants, UPS systems, and redundant power architectures.
  • Engineer of Record Duties: Assume responsible charge for deliverables, ensuring precise phase balancing and circuit allocation from RPPs to device cabinets.
  • Project Leadership: Direct multi-discipline teams (mechanical, structural, and tech) while managing project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Field Operations: Conduct site investigations, commissioning oversight, and feasibility studies for new datacenter site selections.
  • AI Integration: Actively apply AI-driven analytics and LLM tools to optimise engineering workflows and power data calculations.
  • QA/QC: Perform rigorous technical reviews and gap analyses on work produced by external partners and internal teams.

Skills/Must have:

  • Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering and a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience: 7+ years in mission-critical facility or datacenter design, with a focus on high-performance computing.
  • Technical Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of medium/low voltage distribution, fault tolerance, and NEC/NFPA/IEEE codes.
  • Software Proficiency: Expert in Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and BIM workflows.

Benefits:

  • Industry-leading health, dental, and vision insurance packages.
  • Competitive 401(k) matching.

Salary:

  • $185,000+ Performance based Bonus
