The organization is seeking a Supervising Electrical Engineer to join its San Francisco or Sacramento, CA office. This senior leadership role involves serving as Engineer of Record on key projects, mentoring a team of engineers, and helping shape the firm's technical direction while leading the delivery of complex engineering projects.

Responsibilities:
- Acting as Engineer of Record on dedicated projects
- Supervising and leading coordination meetings
- Leading and supervising staff members as they perform their tasks
- Coordinating and assigning projects to be performed by the engineering team (system design and project engineering)
- Establishing design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects
- Providing periodic, objective, and comprehensive employee evaluations
- Assisting the Technical Manager and Chief Engineer with business unit technical training and staff mentoring
- Managing construction administration duties such as field reports, RFI responses, and processing Bulletins and Addenda
- Coordinating with accounting to prepare monthly project invoices and monitor accounts receivable
- Monitoring correspondence between staff, clients, contractors, and owners
- Participating in and contributing to the firmwide Expert Teams committee
- Participating in budgeting, scheduling, and staff management
- Preparing proposals and administering project contracts, including Add Service Agreements
- Supervising the preparation of analysis and reports on system options and building conditions
Skills/Must have:
- Current PE registration required
- 10+ years' experience working in a consulting firm, this is a senior-level role requiring a background in the MEP Engineering industry
- 3+ years of supervisory experience
- Hands-on design and CAD/Revit experience required, this is a strong technical role
- Experience working on Critical Facilities projects a good fit for this role
