The company is looking for a Senior Estimator to join its Dublin team, taking ownership of pricing and estimating across a varied civil engineering workload. The role involves working closely with bid teams and tender planners, providing technical input from first principles through to final submission, while contributing to client relationships and business development.

Responsibilities:
- Preparation of quantities from drawings and specifications, and abstracts of material and sub-contract requirements for sourcing and pricing
- Technical and commercial appraisal of material and subcontractor quotations
- Preparation of analytical estimates, including detailed appraisal of construction plant and temporary works
- Contributes to submission document preparation and attends site visits during tender period
- Uses estimating software as the basis for estimate preparation
- Evaluates construction methods and formulates alternative proposals in conjunction with the bid team and tender planner
- Prepares associated capital expenditure/income forecasts and cash flow forecasts
- Provides day-to-day delivery support on small-to-medium projects, and support on larger projects/programmes, working with minimal supervision
- Contributes to business development through networking and client relationship building
- Supports delivery through proactive involvement and performance management of personnel
- Operates in compliance with client corporate governance procedures
- Demonstrates ongoing commitment to CPD and continuous improvement
Skills/Must have:
- Degree level qualified (or equivalent) in a Civil Engineering related discipline
- Experience pricing work under various contract forms, including NEC (Fixed, Target Cost, Design & Build, Specification & Drawing, or ECI bids)
- Experience in a similar (Senior Estimator) role
- Good technical understanding of Civil Engineering, with ability to propose alternative solutions
- Strong numeracy, accuracy, and self-checking discipline
- Proven client-facing delivery, comfortable across a wide range of stakeholders in a flexible environment
- Ability to work to strict, changing deadlines
