The established data centre provider is expanding its Munich footprint. The successful candidate will play a hands-on role in maintaining the critical infrastructure that keeps customer operations running, working within a close-knit team where their contribution has a direct impact. Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and optimize maintenance measures to ensure smooth, uninterrupted facility operation
• Manage service companies end-to-end: needs analysis, sourcing and negotiating offers, monitoring delivery, and defect management
• Work with the Network Operations Center to resolve and escalate malfunctions, supported by monitoring systems, during business hours and on-call periods
• Carry out minor repairs and maintenance independently (cold aisle enclosures, racks, lighting systems, filter replacement, accessible component swaps, and power/network cabling fixes as needed)
• Collaborate closely with Facility and Operations teams to keep the data center customer-ready at all times
• Contribute to budget creation and support ongoing monitoring and compliance
• Maintain clean documentation (maintenance, defects) and ensure adherence to processes like incident, problem, and change management
• Support audits and the continuous improvement of processes, technology, and systems
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule

Skills/Must have:

• Completed vocational training as an electrician (or equivalent in refrigeration/HVAC - "Kälte/Klimatechnik")
• Standard 230V/400V electrical background (low-voltage/telecoms-only profiles not suitable for this role)
• Willingness to obtain switching authorization and authorization to work under voltage, if not already held
• Strong technical understanding of complex infrastructure systems and genuine interest in how they work
• Comfortable with manual, hands-on work
• Flexible, analytical, solutions-oriented, and a team player
• Willing to be on call, including nights and weekends

Salary:

• €65,000 base + 5% bonus, plus benefits package
