The organization is currently on the lookout for a Facility Engineer to join the team at its Berlin data center, playing a vital role in ensuring the availability, reliability, and optimization of complex data centre infrastructure. The ideal candidate will gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art infrastructure, supporting the organization's goal of complete climate neutrality by 2030, while collaborating closely with other teams in an international and innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with technical and legal standards.
• Manage service providers and contractors.
• Monitor and resolve incidents with the NOC.
• Participate in paid on-call rotation (nights/weekends).
• Perform minor repairs and component replacements.
• Support budgeting, documentation, and audits.

Skills/Must Have:

• Training in electrical engineering or air conditioning.
• Willingness to gain switching/voltage authorizations.
• Strong technical and problem-solving mindset.
• Flexible, team-oriented, and hands-on.
• Comfortable with on-call duties.
• Fluent German; English is a plus.
