Fiber Splicer - Telecommunications

They are now seeking experienced Fiber Splicers to join the team in Edmonton, Saskatoon and Regina. 

The company has a strong pipeline of projects across Canada and is rapidly expanding its fiber network infrastructure nationwide.

Responsibilities:

• Work on outside plans (OSP) and splice commercial and backbone fiber cables. 
• Perform fusion splicing (single and multi-fibre)
• Test Fiber for faults and issues using OTDR tech
• Aerial and Underground FiberSplicing 
• Restore damaged Fiber cables 

Skills/Must have:

• Fiber Splicing experience 
• Fusion splicing experience 
• OSP experience - Aerial and Underground 
• Clean driver's license
