Field Network Engineer - Systems Integrator

The organisation is seeking a Field Network Engineer who enjoys working onsite, solving technical challenges, and delivering high quality networking projects. This is a hands on position combining customer facing project work with technical troubleshooting across a range of modern network technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and install enterprise network infrastructure across customer sites.
• Perform hardware refreshes, migrations and new network deployments.
• Configure and replace switches, wireless access points and firewalls.
• Rack, stack and cable network equipment.
• Carry out site surveys and network discovery activities.
• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN and wireless networking issues.
• Support project engineers during network cutovers and upgrades.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and asset records.
• Deliver excellent customer service while working onsite.
• Follow project plans and implementation documentation.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• 2+ years of IT infrastructure or networking experience.
• Experience working for an MSP, systems integrator or enterprise IT team is highly regarded.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Comfortable working independently across multiple customer sites.
• Excellent communication and customer facing skills.
• Ability to prioritise work across multiple projects.
• Full Australian driver's licence.
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency preferred.
